2012 ended in style for The Jive Aces with some excellent media coverage. First, there was a 3 minute feature on BBC TV “South East Today”, focusing on the band’s successes, including being the first live group to reach the semi-finals of “Britain’s Got Talent” and the hit viral video “Bring Me Sunshine”. BBC TV cameras came down to the Hippodrome, where the band had a residency for much of December, to interview the guys and film them in action. You can watch the clip here.

Hot on the heels of that, The Evening Standard ran a half-page news feature on the Jive Aces. Their story was about an American doctor who had seen the “Bring Me Sunshine” video and prescribed it to his patients as an instant mood lifter. The feature (below) went out to 750,000 Londoners and also on the paper’s website.

A lot of the current interest in the band has stemmed from their various videos online, particularly “Bring Me Sunshine”.  They are now posting a new video every week on their Youtube channel. These include music video’s; exclusive live performances, tutorials and vlogs (video blogs). Their channel now has nearly 3 million views and over 10,000 subscribers. The latest video’s to go online include the band’s humorous review of last year. You can see that and all of their videos at www.youtube.com/jiveaces and if you’d like to keep up-to-date on these, then please subscribe to the channel.
